We are buying it from Chris' dad. Good idea to have a spare. I hope to do Lake Superior at some point. We will be up in Duluth in Sept. for my nieces wedding, and we thought we may go further up the North Shore after that(the wedding is in early Sept.) not sure though. It looks like we will be spending the summer in southern MN near Rochester where our kids are. It will be so good to see them. It will have been a year for me since I have seen my kids and almost that amnt. of time since seeing three of Chris' four kids. Chris is researching everything possible. eventually we want to have a solar panel on it. but we won't be able to afford that right away. This has been something that we have wanted to do for a long time. We are lucky in that we are very compatible and have lived in small spaces before with no problem. If I can offer one piece of advice - new tires! We had our inspected twice when we bought a used RV and they still were blowing out. Nothing ruins a trip faster than multiple blowouts. Keep a spare.... :-) I suggest you do the circle tour of Lake Superior at some point..... Amazing.... But try to do it in late summer! Fewer bugs in August and winter comes early to north Superior.... Wow – you guys are brave….
